Premium Dental Implants owner gets on his bike to raise £1,600

Premium Dental Implants owner Dr Nigel Jones and his wife Sarah have raised £1,600 for the Alzheimer’s Society after completing a 100-mile bike ride together.

The 100-mile route took the couple from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in east London, through the Surrey countryside and back into London to the finish line on The Mall.

Dr Jones says sponsoring family friend and double Olympic silver cyclist, Becky James, had inspired the couple to get into gear for the event and for a charity close to their hearts.

“I lost my mother Jacqueline and mother-in-law Noreen to Alzheimer’s,” said Dr Jones, “so the Alzheimer’s Society and the work they do mean a lot to Sarah and I.

“We’ve known Becky for years and have supported her throughout her career. Seeing the highs and lows she went through, the determination and talent to heroically win two silver medals at last summer’s Rio Olympics inspired us.

“Sarah and I would like to everybody for their generosity and support.”
